Top engineering firm is looking to add a Civil 3D expert to the design team in Kansas City, MO. In this role, you will bridge the gap between initial concept and final construction, leading a team to deliver precise, code-compliant design packages on complex infrastructure and civil projects. Requires a high level Civil 3D designer using smart tools to create 3D surfaces, independently. Onsite role.

responsibilities:
- Lead Comprehensive Design: Oversee site development, roads, drainage, and utility systems from initial concept to final layout.
- Perform Complex Calculations: Conduct technical analysis for grading, earthwork volumes, and system sizing on non-routine projects.
- Manage Drawing Production: Direct the creation of detailed plans and ensure all drawings follow a logical sequence and professional presentation.
- Ensure Quality & Compliance: Lead the review and mark-up process to ensure all designs meet strict engineering codes and project specifications.
- Align Design with Budgets: Integrate project schedules and budget constraints into the design process while maintaining organized project records.
