We are looking for a detail-oriented BIM Coordinator to bridge the gap between design and construction. As a key member of this team, you will ensure our projects are built virtually using the latest 3-D modeling software before a single brick is laid on-site. You'll be responsible for managing model consistency, facilitating coordination meetings, and driving efficiency across high-profile projects. You'll be setting up and maintaining federated models, ensuring all discipline-specific models (Architectural, Structural, MEP) align with project standards. You'll then be leading the clash detection process using Revit, AutoCad, Navisworks, Autodesk ReCap and preferably Trimble Realworks to identify interferences and work with project teams to resolve issues early.

responsibilities:
General Responsibilities
- Managing share site so that all trades can share files and project information.
- Lead trade BIM coordination meetings.
- Building a BIM coordination schedule.
- Building combined Navis 3D models of all trades.
- Running clash reports for all trades and assisting in clash resolution by assigning viewpoints for detailers to reference while clearing clashes.
- Scheduling meetings.
- Enforcing operating procedures for all trades.
- Attending and preparing for weekly/bi-weekly coordination meetings.
- Interpreting contract documents.
- Model review (AutoCAD, Revit, Navis)
- On-site laser scanning -This may require traveling to job sites to laser scan. The BIM Coordinator will also assist in the registration process after the laser scanning is complete.
- Scan to BIM - Taking laser scans and creating 3D models to turn over to the owner or for internal use.
- Rendering - Assisting the architectural designer with modeling.
- Revit family creation when needed. Coordinate with project managers and customers
