Established Mining Operations is seeking a Senior Process Control Engineer in Nipton, CA! You will bring a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related, and 7+ years experience as a Process Control Engineer within a heavy industrial setting. Optimize industrial performance by designing and maintaining PLC development and HMI interfaces. Lead daily troubleshooting and large-scale capital projects, collaborating with process engineers while proactively resolving operational bottlenecks. responsibilities:
- Program PLC systems using various Rockwell platforms
- Design and update HMI/SCADA visual interfaces
- Develop advanced control schemes collaborating with process engineers to improve plant reliability
- Identify operational bottlenecks and engineer technical solutions to increase throughput
- Provide oversight for the controls portion of new contruction and capital improvement projects
- Support installation and calibration of field instruments, actuated valves and remote I/O panels
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related
- 7+ years in heavy industrial, mining or chemical setting
- Proficiency in Rockwell Automation programming platforms
- PFDs, P&IDs, control narratives and instrumentation wiring diagrams
