A Process Engineer is needed for a biomedical/biotechnology engineering firm and multinational manufacturer of medical devices in the Maple Grove, MN area. This role involves independently developing innovative medical technologies and products by designing complex experiments, analyzing research data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and medical professionals to meet quality and market requirements.

responsibilities:
- Generates innovative solutions to market needs and submits idea disclosures for new or refined products.
- Completes complex engineering work across technology development, product design, and research investigations.
- Selects appropriate techniques to solve complex problems and provide sound design recommendations.
- Summarizes and draws conclusions from complex test results to inform project direction.
- Designs and prepares complex reports to communicate findings to the technical community.
- Designs and coordinates complex engineering tests and experiments.
- Manages and documents project goals and progress while recommending necessary revisions.
- Assesses the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering evaluation tests and equipment.
- Interfaces with physicians and cath lab personnel to gather feedback on device concepts and performance.
- Translates customer needs into specific product requirements and design specifications.
- Collaborates with process development, quality, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, and marketing teams.
- Provides training or work direction to technicians and entry-level engineers.
- Demonstrates mastery of pdp and tpd systems through the delivery of high impact results.
- Takes responsibility for all required engineering documentation.
- Builds quality into all aspects of work by maintaining strict compliance with quality requirements.
- Three to five years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor of science degree in a related engineering field.
