Engineering firm is looking to add a Distribution Designer to the growing team in Kansas City, MO to support ongoing projects. Needs to be a detail-oriented and collaborative. In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of electric distribution projects, translating complex field data into robust, compliant engineering solutions. This onsite role requires a high proficiency in AutoCAD software, along with NESC standards knowledge and a minimum of 3 years experience in electric utility distribution design.

responsibilities:
- Design Engineering: Developed comprehensive drawings, specifications, and material lists for overhead and underground distribution projects.
- Technical Analysis: Performed critical calculations including pole structural analysis, conductor sizing, voltage drop, and transformer loading.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensured all designs strictly adhered to NESC, regulatory requirements, and client-specific engineering standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partnered with project managers and cross-functional teams to align design objectives with strict project deadlines.
- Site Evaluation: Analyzed field data and site visit findings to verify existing conditions and inform accurate design layouts.
