Mechanical Engineer for a leading manufacturer of custom processing equipment based in Buffalo, NY. This position is responsible for providing design and engineering support throughout the product development process.

Required Qualifications:
- Must have at least two (2) years design experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience creating detailed 3D models of design along with supporting production drawings and bills of material
- Proficient in AutoCad 2D
- Proficient in Autodesk Inventor (or similar 3D modelling software)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering

- Provide design and engineering support throughout the product development process
- Complete supporting engineering calculations and validations required to ensure sound product design
- Generate detailed 3D models of design along with supporting production drawings and bills of material
- Conduct product safety/risk assessments and other compliance-related evaluations
- Development and deployment of standards and tools for design, costing, general efficiency improvements.
