A Manufacturing Materials Coordinator is needed in the Gloucester, MA area for an American corporation that supplies equipment, services and software for the manufacture of semiconductor chips for electronics, flat panel displays for computers, smartphones, televisions, and solar products. This role is focused on maintaining hardware systems and driving Lean Six Sigma initiatives to optimize production flow and eliminate waste.

responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the internal manufacturing line-side hardware systems.
- Optimize the Value Stream by eliminating waste and improving flow across manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain.
- Facilitate Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement and meet operational KPIs.
- Lead Kaizen events, 8D problem-solving, and Green Belt-level projects.
- Conduct current and future state assessments using Value Stream Mapping to identify improvement opportunities.
- Utilize project management skills to track action items and manage improvement initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships during process interventions.
- Provide informal guidance and mentorship to new team members.
- Solve complex problems by analyzing solutions through technical experience, judgment, and established precedents.
- Explain complex technical information clearly to team members and stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all operational tasks.
- Influence others and collaborate across departments to achieve production results.
- Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.
- Leads a cross-functional team during process improvement interventions and manages an array of stakeholder relationships
- Technical Diploma.
