EPC firm in Houstin, TX is looking to add Assistant Construction Managers to a growing team. This role is a versatile, high-impact position responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of complex projects in the energy sector. You will serve as a central hub for the project team, bridging the gap between field operations, legal compliance, and financial oversight. Your primary focus is to ensure that projects are not only executed safely and to the highest quality standards but are also delivered on schedule and within budget. This person will need to be open to heavy travel as needed, along with T&D project experience. Bonus potential along with other key benefits.

responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive Project Execution Plans (PEP), covering Quality Assurance, Procurement, Staffing, and Safety to ensure operational alignment.
- Contract & Risk Management: Negotiate and administer prime contracts, subcontracts, and change orders while conducting project risk reviews and ensuring compliance with legal and insurance requirements.
- Financial & Performance Oversight: Manage project cost reporting, scheduling, and cash flow analysis; monitor labor productivity and "earned value" metrics to ensure projects remain on budget and on schedule.
- Procurement & Vendor Relations: Orchestrate the full RFP process-from bidder pre-qualification to contract award-and manage ongoing subcontractor performance, safety compliance, and quality standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a primary interface for client relationships, facilitating high-level status meetings and delivering critical reporting on project health, risks, and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
