A Project Manager is needed for a utility holding company in the Welch, MN area. This role will support capital facilities and construction projects at one of its nuclear generating facilities and delivers upgrades, equipment replacements, building/facility modifications, long term plan development, and other capital improvements.

responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of nuclear capital facilities and construction projects ranging from $100K to multi-million dollar investments.
- Oversee 5-10 concurrent projects, ensuring strict adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Lead project controls, including cost tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain technical scopes of work, long-term project plans, and funding requests.
- Coordinate daily with internal stakeholders such as engineering, maintenance, operations, and supply chain.
- Source, contract, and manage external suppliers and contractors.
- Conduct field walkdowns and plant observations to mitigate risks and ensure constructability.
- Ensure compliance with nuclear regulatory, quality assurance, and safety protocols.
- Author and deliver project presentations to senior leadership for funding and authorization approvals.
- Execute change management and maintain comprehensive project documentation and status reports.
- Utilize project management tools and MS Office to drive milestones and maintain administrative requirements.
- Knowledge of processes such as modification process, temporary modifications, quality assurance standards, operating policies, industry standards and administrative requirements within the commercial nuclear or a similarly regulated industry.
