A Senior Electrical Designer is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Pittsburgh, PA area. This position will lead the design and drafting of complex electrical systems using AutoCAD and Revit while mentoring junior staff and managing project workflows.

responsibilities:
- Perform computer-aided drafting and design for electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create layouts, sketches, 3D modeling, and electronic document files.
- Deliver complex design packages for semiconductor manufacturing, data centers, and advanced facilities.
- Coordinate closely with engineers and design leads to ensure project delivery.
- Develop staffing plans based on project deliverables and schedules.
- Manage assigned tasks within specific client expectations, scopes, budgets, and timelines.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior designers and drafters.
- Apply knowledge of NEC and electrical design requirements to all layouts.
- Collaborate with a global team to provide world-class designs for high-tech industrial clients.
- Maintain organized electronic document files and 2D/3D project assets.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge and application of NEC and electrical design requirements.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Two-year Associate's Degree in relevant field.
- At Least 10 years of relevant experience in design utilizing 3-D modeling / drafting.
- At least 2 years of Revit Design Experience.
- 3 years of semiconductor experience.
