responsibilities:
- Lead the full lifecycle of controls and automation projects, from initial concept through final delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of controls engineers, including responsibility for recruitment and training.
- Design and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource deployment strategies.
- Collaborate with and assist the Controls team in all activities related to equipment commissioning and initial startup.
- Troubleshoot and fix PLC and HMI programming errors while offering technical mentorship to junior and senior controls engineers.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related associate degree and equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of Rockwell Studio 5000 experience
- 6+ years of controls integration experience in the food processing industry is preferred.
- Must have leadership and mentoring experience
- Authorized to work in the USA and travel internationally
