responsibilities:
- Work a 12hr rotating schedule
- Maintain a zero-incident safety culture by following all facility safety and environmental regulations
- Provide electrical and controls support for roofing manufacturing lines and auxilary equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in PLCs, HMIs, and automated systems
- Modify existing programs to improve machine sequencing and alarm responses
- Perform electrical maintenance and wiring on AC and DC power distribution systems up to 480V
- Achieve and maintain facility-level electrician certification
- Install software updates and perform equipment calibrations and machine setups
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to resolve technical issues
- Update and redline system drawings, schematics, and layouts
- Analyze operational data to diagnose and fix performance problems
- Manage critical environmental and process control systems
- Complete both scheduled maintenance tasks and emergency repairs during production downtime
- Operate powered industrial vehicles like forklifts and man-lifts
- Document work and manage tasks within a computerized maintenance management system
- Participate in an on-call rotation as needed to support 24/7 operations
