Our client, a leader in the aerospace manufacturing and energy-efficient solutions is looking for a manufacturing engineer..Key qualifications include, minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience supporting operations/production and a minimum 3 years of Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma. A bachelors degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience is required.

responsibilities:
- Continuous Improvement Leadership: Propose and implement projects focused on safety, quality, and cost reduction using Lean, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Financial & Capital Oversight: Own the site's "cost out" reporting and manage Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR) for new equipment, facility changes, and plant layouts.
- Manufacturing Strategy: Optimize production by developing operational procedures, routings, and standards, specifically supporting sheet metal, machining, and assembly processes.
- Technical Problem Solving: Investigate manufacturing issues and partner with Design Engineering to ensure New Product Development (NPD) is optimized for "maximum manufacturing economy."
- Compliance & Coaching: Administer the Management of Change (MOC) process, champion EHS/safety initiatives (like machine guarding), and mentor project owners in statistical tools.
