responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in areas like productivity, waste reduction, and quality control
- Develop and implement solutions to improve operational performance, including designing and testing new processes, modifying existing equipment, and implementing lean manufacturing principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality control) to troubleshoot production issues, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions
- May be involved in the selection and implementation of new equipment or automation systems
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and new technologies relevant to manufacturing processes
- BS Engineering required (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or similar)
- Minimum 2-3 yrs process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including process analysis, design, and improvement methodologies
