A Warehouse Operations Specialist is needed for a company that transports, distributes and generates energy, with diversified assets that include a balance between crude oil and natural gas in the Houston, TX area. This role is responsible for designing and implementing an optimized warehouse network that balances cost, risk, and service performance.

responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Materials Management and Logistics to design an optimal warehousing operating model.
- Perform detailed financial and operational analyses to support network design and location strategy.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and develop comprehensive risk mitigation plans.
- Lead strategic supply chain initiatives from initial concept through to final implementation.
- Create business cases, implementation roadmaps, and change management strategies.
- Establish governance structures and maintain stakeholder engagement across multiple levels.
- Manage complex projects with tight deadlines while ensuring measurable business value.
- Apply expertise in engineering, business, or supply chain (degree or equivalent experience).
- Leverage professional designations like SCMP, CPSM, or PMP to drive operational excellence.
- strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound commercial and operational decisions.
- Proven project management experience, including managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at multiple levels.

- University degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on warehousing and/or logistics.
- Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a university degree.
