We are searching for a Manufacturing Engineer in Lincoln, IL to work for an industry-leading manufacturing company. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of experience with manufacturing engineering.
This is a contract role expected to last a year and could be extended or lead to a direct-hire role.

responsibilities:
- Generate and maintain Manufacturing Processes and Manufacturing Work Instructions per the MSOP standards.
- Create and Update Oracle ERP routings as needed for products.
- Identify when/where there is a need for standard or special gauging, and special equipment/tooling for production.
- Provide timely support in resolving manufacturing issues in the production area.
- Complete NCRs (Non Conformance Reports) in accordance with MSOP standards and with the cross functional team.
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools to reduce waste and variation in processes focused on improving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Support 5S and visual management efforts in manufacturing areas.
