Growing manufacturer is seeking a direct-hire Production Group Leader. This position is located near Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. The Production Group Lead will be responsible for providing work direction, ensuring assembly employees are properly trained, meeting production and quality standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring safety guidelines are followed. This position is on 1st shift.
The hourly rate for this position is dependent on experience ranging from $29 to $32 an hour, plus other benefits! All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.

responsibilities:
- Directs priorities and workflow to employees within their specific area/line as needed to reach production schedule attainment and ensures there is adequate employee coverage
- Informs the Production Supervisor of any employee absences during the shift and schedules weekend overtime when required
- Coordinates training and development for new and existing employees to cultivate high performing teams
- Ensures quality requirements and standards are met or exceeded. Recommends operational changes
