responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial plans, policies, and reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate results in accordance with GAAP across a multi-entity organization.
- Determine manufacturing material costs and collaborate with Engineering and Procurement to ensure accurate product costing, BOM integrity, and margin protection.
- Analyze and explain variances between actual production results and budgeted/forecasted figures, translating shop-floor data into actionable financial insights.
- Maintain fiscal records and support audit, tax, and M&A activity, including due diligence, ERP conversions, and post-close reconciliation.
- Lead and supervise a team of financial and administrative professionals, prioritizing tasks and ensuring resources are used effectively to meet targets.
- BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related major.
- Minimum of 8 years in fiscal management; minimum of 5 years directly leading a team.
- strong proficiency with cost accounting in a manufacturing environment is required
- Operation in an ERP environment required; specific experience with Epicor Kinetic is strongly preferred
- Results-driven personality with the ability to work diplomatically across all levels, from the production floor to the executive office.
