Currently seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join the Orange County office. responsibilities:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind project success and team growth. Your core duties will include:
- Leading engineering staff and managing the full lifecycle of complex projects.
- Maintaining strict control over project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Identifying new opportunities and spearheading the creation of winning proposals.
- Overseeing the production and review of detailed plans and reports to ensure top-tier quality control.
- Contributing expertise to traffic signal design, lighting systems, ITS, and traffic management plans.
To be considered for this senior leadership role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- At least 10 years of professional engineering experience, including 2 years in a supervisory capacity specifically within traffic engineering, ITS, and traffic studies.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Must be a California Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Civil or Traffic Engineering; holding both licenses is highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, Microsoft Office, Synchro, and HCS.
- Technical knowledge paired with effective written and oral communication skills for high-level presentations and reporting.
- Deep familiarity with Caltrans PS&E (Plans, Specifications, and Estimates).
- Expertise in worksite traffic control plans and traffic analysis.
- Proven ability to mentor junior staff and navigate the nuances of Southern California's engineering standards.
