Our client, a leader in medical device manufacturing, is looking for a Process Engineering Technician (Injection Molding). Key qualifications include 5+ years of hands-on process engineering and injection molding experience. Experience in the medical device industry and an Associate degree are preferred. responsibilities:
- Expert Molding Proficiency: You need a deep understanding of injection molding principles, specifically the ability to optimize process parameters like pressure, temperature, and cycle times.
- Machine & Material Mastery: You'll be responsible for the end-to-end handling of thermoplastics (including resin drying) and the operation of molding machines, with a specific preference for Netstal systems.
- Advanced Automation Skills: Beyond basic operation, there is a heavy focus on robotics and PLCs, including the programming and maintenance of End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT) and pneumatic systems.
- Quality-Driven Troubleshooting: You must be able to identify part defects in real-time and apply technical solutions to maintain strict quality and efficiency standards.
- Maintenance & Setup: The role requires a "hands-on" approach to hardware, involving mold installation, auxiliary equipment setup, and routine preventive maintenance.
