Reputable and growing organization is looking to hire (direct hire) a Maintenance Manager in Indianapolis, Indiana. Bachelor's degree is required.
This opportunity comes with a very competitive compensation plan commensurate with experience with a base salary ranging from $120k to $150k plus an annual bonus of 20%. Relocation assistance is available.
The ideal candidate will possess experience with proactive vs reactionary maintenance programs, preventative maintenance, excellent mechanical aptitude, PSM (Process Safety Management), CMMS and a track record of solid leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

responsibilities:
- Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, prcesses, and maintaining safet practices at all times
- Utilizes leadership skills to promote a safe and collaborative work environment for all team members
- Oversees housekeeping activities for the shop, ensuring organization and promoting excellence
- Implements spare parts organization and a robust spare parts tracking system
- Partners with the maintenance team to ensure the appropriate mechanical and electrical skill sets are developed or acquired
- Develops improvement processes to reduce cost and improve plant operating efficiency
- Maintains cost control to support facility and organizational goals
- Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering required
- 10 plus years of manufacturing/industrial experience required
- 5 plus years of maintenance supervision experience required
- Experience utilizing a CMMS required
- Experience with reliability excellence and preventative/predictive systems required
- Lean experience
- BMS experience
- DCS/PLC knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines with shifting priorities
- Excellent problem solving resolution, with judgment and decision-making skills
- Written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external stake holders
- Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role
