Leading engineering and construction firm is looking to add an Assistant Project Manager in the greater Orlando, FL area. This individual should be driven and detail-oriented professional. In this role, you will bridge the gap between world-class engineering and high-stakes construction, supporting the successful delivery of complex Design-only and EPC projects. This is an onsite role and experience in utility industry projects is highly preferred along with contract manager software experience.

responsibilities:
- Contract & Procurement Management: Lead the full lifecycle of EPC and Design-only contracts, from RFP development and bid selection to change order management and final closeout.
- Project Controls & Reporting: Manage project budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and work breakdown structures (WBS) while providing data-driven status reports to stakeholders.
- Construction Administration: Oversee technical documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and site drawing logs, to ensure seamless communication between engineering and field teams.
- Compliance & Performance Oversight: Verify contractor adherence to rigorous quality, environmental, and material management standards throughout the project duration.
- Safety & Risk Leadership: Execute project risk reviews and strictly enforce corporate safety policies to manage the health and performance of all team members and subcontractors.
