Our client, an agile space company dedicated to US National Security is looking for a Senior Spacecraft Electrical Engineer. Key qualifications include, 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in electrical system design, analysis, integration, and test for spacecraft systems. A Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field is required.

responsibilities:
- Avionics & Digital Design: Lead the end-to-end development of spacecraft "brains," specifically digital boards, Command & Data Handling (C&DH), telemetry, and communication subsystems.
- Requirements & Specification: Decompose complex mission needs into technical specs, ensuring all electrical hardware meets functional and regulatory standards.
- Supply Chain & Quality: Directly specify electronic components and manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of digital boards and parts.
- Systems Integration & Testing: Oversee the functional testing and troubleshooting of electrical subsystems throughout the design, assembly, and launch-prep phases.
- Cross-Functional Documentation: Author and maintain critical engineering artifacts (schematics, ICDs, and test reports) while collaborating with mechanical, software, and technician teams
