A Project Engineer is needed for a leader in the world of Technical Services and Engineering in the Richland, WA area. This is a senior-level, hands-on leadership role for a structural engineer who acts as an owner's representative to manage the design, budget, and on-site construction of large-scale industrial manufacturing projects.

responsibilities:
- Lead multi-discipline engineering teams through the full project life cycle from concept (pre-FEED) to commissioning and startup.
- Manage the Stage and Gate process and Front End Loading (FEL) funding concepts to identify and resolve engineering deliverable gaps.
- Develop and maintain project baselines, budgets, and schedules in collaboration with Project Directors and discipline leads.
- Act as the primary company representative to negotiate scope changes and maintain timely change orders with clients and subcontractors.
- Oversee on-site construction activities and integrate conflicting project elements to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor project health regarding safety, quality, cost, and productivity, creating action plans to rectify delays or overruns.
- Proficiency with structural analysis software such as STAAD, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, or ANSYS.
- Proficiency with design codes and standards such as ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI.
- Experience in working on various manufacturing capital projects.
- strong Experience with Vertical Construction.
- Incumbent should have a broad general technical and business background.
- Must have the ability to manage projects, interface with clients and enjoy being hands on technically in the project.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related technical/business field.
- Applicant should have 8+ years of relevant work experience.
