Seeking a Civil Structrual Engineer to lead technical oversight for a large-scale civil and structural projects across the U.S. This is a "boots-on-the-ground" engineering role designed for a professional who thrives on active construction sites. You will serve as the primary technical authority for heavy civil works- including foundations, retaining walls, and reinforced concrete silos. You will bridge the gap between engineered drawings and field execution, ensuring every pour and placement meets the rigorous safety and quality standards.
This is REMOTE full time role with up to 75% travel to project sites.

responsibilities:
- Act as the lead supervisor for the installation of foundations, retaining walls, and reinforced concrete silos- specifically overseeing high-complexity slip-form and shotcrete operations
- Responsible for daily field inspections, verifying everything from rebar placement and formwork cycles to the technical review of concrete test reports (slump, density, and compressive strenght).
- Coordinate subcontractor activities, validate daily progress reports, and ensure all work follows the established Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) to minimize disruptions to ongoing plant operations
- When site-specific obstacles arise, you coordinate between contractors and Project Managers to find engineering solutions, perform root-cause evaluations for non-conformities, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Collect "as-built" data, measurements, and photographs to support engineering revisions, ensuring the Corporate engineering team has an accurate record of the physical installation
- Serve as a primary safety monitor for civil works, participating in toolbox talks and ensuring all contractors adhere to MSHA/OSHA and company safety policies
