Our client is seeking a g Technician for a 1-year contract with a possible extension, who will support product development by performing cross-functional prototyping activities, including 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC machining, while using SolidWorks for design manipulation.
Must have 1-3 years of machine shop experience (lathes, mills, CNC), experience with rapid prototype machines (3D printers, laser cutters), fabrication/assembly, and general tools; a basic understanding of design, prints, and schematics; mechanical and troubleshooting ability; and familiarity with measurement tools and MS Office.

responsibilities:
- Performing activities in a variety of cross-functional areas, predominantly supporting the Product Development Engineering Department.
- Performing functions associated with all prototypes, including working with engineers in setting up various fixtures.
- Conducting 3D printing, laser cutting, and machining (CNC & Conventional).
- Using sophisticated programs such as SolidWorks to design and/or manipulate solid models to be fabricated.
