The Estimator will play a key role in the preconstruction process by reviewing project documents, preparing estimates, and coordinating subcontractor pricing. The ideal person for this role will bring 7+ years experience in commerical construction along with 3+ years worth of related estimating work.

responsibilities:
- Review and analyze construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and project proposals
- Solicit, organize, and level subcontractor bids and vendor proposals
- Assist in developing project budgets and preliminary schedules
- Participate in client meetings and preconstruction discussions when needed
- Support the estimating team from project pursuit through final proposal submission
- Collaborate with senior estimators and project managers throughout the bidding process
- 7+ years of experience in commercial construction
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
- Proven understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing structures
- Proficiency with Excel and general computer-based estimating tools
- Familiarity with CAD software is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
