A Quality Technician is needed for a multinational corporation that produces mirrors as well as a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials in the Poestenkill, NY area. The Quality Technician ensures product excellence by sampling, testing, and dispositioning materials in a regulated manufacturing environment while supporting ISO compliance and safety standards.

responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and monitoring of quality systems in accordance with ISO and corporate standards.
- Perform sampling, inspection, and testing of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
- Evaluate data and determine the status of tested materials as acceptable, hold, or reject.
- Operate laboratory and manufacturing equipment, prioritizing safety around chemicals and moving parts.
- Assist production operators in achieving quality standards, which may include running production machinery.
- Support quality processes including calibration, complaint handling, CAPA, and nonconforming material control.
- Maintain organized quality records and files for regulatory compliance.
- Ensure the laboratory and equipment are kept safe, neat, and well-organized.
- Use Kronos for timekeeping and adhere to site pay policies.
- Require a minimum of a High School diploma, though an Associate or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Previous experience in regulated industry such as life sciences, food and beverage, or aerospace preferred, laboratory skills also desired.
- Factory and Laboratory work environment.
- Equipment may subject employee to chemical, temperature and moving parts/blades thus safety will be the priority.
