Process Improvement Engineer for a leading manufacturer of packaging materials in Charlotte North Carolina's northern metropolitan area. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement on coating assets, operator engagement/development and safety.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 5+ years in process improvement experience within a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years experience within the coatings, adhesives, polymer, or related industry
- Knowledge of coatings, including formulation, application, and performance testing.

responsibilities:
- Oversee the coating and material manufacturing through commercialization of innovative coating solutions
- Drive continuous improvement on coating assets, operator engagement/development and safety
- Lead risk assessments of equipment to drive safety improvements using skilled engineering practices
- Oversee daily operations activities and process driven improvement projects
- Work with maintenance on machinery enhancements as well as troubleshooting and upgrades
- Monitor and analyze process data, using insights to recommend and implement improvements in coating processes and technologies.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and work with management on capital investments
