A Quality Assurance Engineer is needed for an energy equipment manufacturing and services company in the Wilmington, NC area. This is a Hands-on Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer role in a manufacturing setting, requiring a mix of physical inspection (gauges/sampling), technical writing, and process oversight specifically supporting Pilgering or machine shop operations.

responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure product and process reliability.
- Perform basic liquid chemistry sampling and analyze results.
- Take precise physical measurements and interpret data for quality control.
- Utilize various mechanical gauges to inspect manufactured components.
- Conduct rigorous tests and inspections to identify and document quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical quality challenges.
- Author and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and quality standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
- Manage quality assurance records and activity logs.
- Ability to perform basic liquid chemistry sampling.
- Ability to take physical measurements and interpret results.
- Experience using various mechanical gauges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Technical Writing.

- Knowledge of quality assurance tools and methodologies.
