responsibilities:
- Track and control costs for one or more employer projects under management oversight.
- Review and track project invoices and contractor Time & Materials (T&M) tickets.
- Administer project change control documentation and maintain audit trails.
- Perform data entry for various project reporting and financial monitoring activities.
- Support the primary project cost controller in daily administrative and financial tasks.
- Maintain high levels of organization and attention to detail in all financial records.
- Apply basic understanding of construction projects, contracting, and accounting principles.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and complete work within strict, punctual deadlines.
- Communicate project financial status clearly through both written and verbal channels.
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic computing and project management software.
- Maintain a high level of organization to manage multiple project streams and documentation.
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail when reviewing financial data and invoices.
- Showcase proficiency in basic computing and digital office tools.
- Apply an above-average understanding of Excel for data management and spreadsheet analysis.
- Utilize a foundational knowledge of construction project lifecycles and workflows.
- Possess a higher education degree or equivalent relatable work experience.
- Hold a degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or Engineering (preferred).
- Provide a degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance as an acceptable alternative.
- Certifications from PMI or AACE.
