responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains evolving project schedules to ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Manages project budgets and identifies cost-control measures to prevent financial overruns.
- Coordinates human resources and material supplies necessary for successful project execution.
- Identifies, analyzes, and mitigates potential risks to the project timeline and budget.
- Defines and communicates clear roles and responsibilities to all project team members.
- Prepares and delivers progress reports and technical presentations to senior management.
- Supports the development of stage-gate deliverables and formal project documentation.
- Facilitates stakeholder meetings to gather critical information and tracks follow-up actions.
- Applied engineering or equivalent working experience; including project management experience.
- Project Management Professional certification is preferred.
- Experience in natural gas fired generation or development of any type of generation is desired.
- The candidate must know the business of project management and have good project management leadership skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to actively align the project with the department and Company business needs and goals.
- Good communication skills including conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to solve a range of problems quickly utilizing project management methodologies.
