An Electrical Engineer is needed for a world class utility company in the Tulsa, OK area. The role ensures NERC FAC-008 compliance and maintains configuration management for power assets by performing technical reviews, QA/QC audits, and risk assessments to align real-time engineering with long-term reliability standards.

responsibilities:
- Executes NERC FAC-008 compliance activities by creating and managing Verifact packages for facility ratings.
- Performs full desktop reviews and issues documentation for field verification of transmission assets.
- Manages the end-to-end QA/QC process, including both preliminary and final quality audits to ensure technical acceptance.
- Addresses and resolves technical rejections promptly to maintain project timelines.
- Develops and maintains a comprehensive configuration management program to track system changes and as-built data.
- Implements robust document control, versioning, and change-management practices for transmission infrastructure.
- Allocates engineering resources to balance urgent real-time operational needs with long-term strategic goals.
- A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering in a program accredited by ABET.
- Has typically acquired 2 or more years of related engineering experience.
- Individuals with a Master's or Doctorate degree in engineering may be considered for entry into the organization at this level.
- ABET - Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering (non-ABET), plus a Professional Engineers (PE) license in any state of the U.S. or
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering (non-ABET) plus a Master's degree in engineering from a university with an ABET accredited Bachelor's program.
