A Senior Electric Engineering Inspector is needed for a leader in the world of Technical Services and Engineering in the Spring Valley, NY area. This will lead an inspection team to oversee the construction, testing, and documentation of complex electrical utility infrastructure while ensuring strict safety and regulatory compliance.

responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee a team of up to five Electrical Engineering inspectors on diverse utility projects.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously across stages of design, active construction, and final documentation.
- Supervise construction for transmission, substation, and both overhead and underground distribution systems.
- Coordinate and document contractor manpower, schedules, and all material deliveries.
- Track and record daily contractor activities, specifically identifying out-of-scope work and associated costs.
- Manage the logistics of materials issued, transferred, or returned to company storerooms.
- Act as the primary liaison between contractors, subcontractors, local agencies, and internal personnel.
- Witness, approve, and officially document critical testing procedures, including transformer and concrete testing.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings, maps, plans, sections, and technical specifications.
- Enforce strict conformity to company safety, environmental requirements, and E-HASP protocols.
- Environmental, Facilities and other types of electric utility projects.
- All Senior Electric Engineering Inspectors will be required to oversee the construction of the above mentioned major electric projects.
- Computer literate including expertise with Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred not Required in Engineering (or related field) and
- Typically 5+ years of related work experience.
