A Project Manager is needed for a manufacturing company considered one of the world's leading innovators in materials science in the Keene, NH area. This role will lead high-tech optical programs from concept to market, managing the budgets, technical teams, and business strategy required to turn advanced innovation into profitable manufactured products.

responsibilities:
- Lead technical teams and manage relationships with internal and external customers to meet program needs.
- Define and execute comprehensive program plans, including detailed schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Drive projects through the entire lifecycle from initiation to delivery, ensuring technical and cost targets are met.
- Monitor changes in customer requirements and adjust program strategy, risk profiles, and business models accordingly.
- Develop compelling business cases, including P&L oversight, balance sheet implications, and competitive value propositions.
- Oversee product testing and evaluation to confirm technology differentiation and manufacturing readiness.
- Identify and protect intellectual property and strategic controls within the technical scope.
- Facilitate clear communication flow regarding program progress and risks across all organizational levels.
- Project management / leadership.

- Ability to interact with customers, building strong relationships for success.
- Ability to work cross functionally (commercial, technical, technology).
- Able to track and manage program spending, revenue, resources & schedule.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project).
- Able to set project direction using project management tools (i.e., MS Project, risk assessment, scope management, etc.).
- Able to make sound decisions by blending analytical thinking with practical judgment.
- BS in Engineering - Optical, Mechanical or related field (or experience in optics) (preferred),
- Associate's Degree with significant relevant experience (minimum).
- 5-7+ years with proven record of executing technical programs.
