Leading Electronics Manufacturer is in search of a 2nd Shift Automation Controls Technician to join their team. We are seeking candidates who have 5+ years of experience in a mechanic, manufacturing, or machinist environment. An Associates Degree in engineering or technology is an advantage but not required. This position will primarily focus on assembling, wire,
test run, troubleshoot and repair custom designed automation equipment.
This is a contract to hire opportunity ranging from $22.22/hr - $46.39/hr 2nd Shift 3 pm-11:30 pm M-F. $1000 sign on bonus is available after 90 days. Please apply today!

responsibilities:
- Work alongside automation engineers and technicians to interpret our designs and to then help bring designs to life.
- Study specifications such as viewing our models in SolidWorks, viewing drawings, sketches,models, or descriptions to be able to move forward with the building of the automation equipment.
- Manages projects including organization and cleaning.
- Organize the incoming materials from machine shop and our outside vendors for the various projects assigned to the position.
- Calculates dimensions, plans layout, and determines assembly method for putting together the various components ofthe automation. Able to verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances.
- Fits and assembles partstogether into assemblies and mechanisms.
- Wire and plumb machines with the guidance of engineers or technicians.
- Set up use and troubleshoot basic automation electronics such as sensors, VFD's etc.
- Verify conformance of machined parts to specifications.
- Attend training to expand knowledge of current programming language and machine maintenance, Ex. Basic Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic and various PLC Robotic coding.
