A Project Scheduler is needed for a world class utility company in the New Albany, OH area. This role involves coordinating scope-of-work activities and performing project scheduling using Primavera P6 to support project managers within the competitive transmission projects team.

responsibilities:
Scope and Schedule Development:
- Define specific activities, durations, and logical sequences for work plans.
- Identify and integrate key milestones and major deliverables.
- Ensure all project scope elements are fully represented in the schedule.
- Utilize Primavera P6 for developing and analyzing project schedules.
- Lead schedule review meetings with stakeholders and incorporate necessary updates.
- Record meeting minutes and track action items.
- Communicate critical paths, risks, and milestone impacts to the team.
- Adhere to organizational project management standards.
- Follow guidelines established by the Project Management Governance Committee.
- Apply best practices for baselining, progress tracking, and commodity curves.
- Coordinate with system administrators regarding user roles and security profiles.
- Generate periodic summary reports.
- Maintain constant communication with project teams to ensure data accuracy.
Education and Experience Combinations:
- Degree must be in Accounting, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Technology, or Project Management.
- Associate degree plus 3 years of qualified experience.
- Bachelor's degree plus 1 year of qualified experience.
- Knowledge of utility operations and a strong understanding of work processes.
- Experience in design, operations, planning, or project management.
- Background in cost tracking, forecasting, budgeting, accounting, or construction.
- Proficiency in time management, planning, and organizational skills.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to meet goals independently.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- strong team orientation and a collaborative work style.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work under general supervision.
- Alignment with company policies, values, and behavioral standards.
