A Project Manager is needed for a world class utility company in the New Albany, OH area. This role will lead or assist in managing matrixed utility and construction projects, focusing on safety, procurement, and risk management while progressively developing the leadership skills to handle complex independent project loads.

responsibilities:
- Manage or assist in the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of base to intermediate projects.
- Lead matrix teams to ensure a Zero Harm safety environment for all employees and contractors.
- Develop and maintain project plans, integrated schedules, tools, and budgets.
- Facilitate project transparency through clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate procurement activities, including RFP development, bid evaluation, and contract negotiations.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure work adheres to contractual quality and safety standards.
- Conduct project closeout analysis to evaluate the achievement of objectives and realized benefits.
- Perform economic analysis and apply risk assessment techniques to optimize project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, project management, or related field of study with 3 years qualified experience or
- Two-year Associate's degree in the same disciplines with 5 years of qualified experience.
- 3 years of qualified experience as a Project Manager Associate (Grade 6) preferred, or demonstrated competencies, knowledge, and skillset through achieved results in a shorter timeline.
- Qualified experience includes outage management activities, business administration, major construction field experience, project estimating, controls, and engineering, and/or comparable experience in a competitive production environment.
- Knowledge in construction safety, negotiations, scope development/control, cost estimating, construction contracting, project controls/reporting, and quality control are beneficial.
- Experience in utilities, commercial nuclear power, and/or IT systems is favorable.
