Land Development Project Engineer opportunity with our client located in Melville, NY. This position will be responsible to manage the full lifecycle of diverse site plan and zoning projects. This direct-hire role offers a flexible work environment, a robust benefits package, and unique future potential for associate and equity ownership. Candidates must have design and permitting experience. Relocation is considered case-by-case.

responsibilities:
- Design and Permitting: Lead the design process for land development projects, including site plan work and navigating complex local zoning and permitting requirements.
- Project Management: Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial proposals and client contact to managing meetings and coordinating with contractors.
- Financial Oversight: Manage project-specific administrative tasks, including accurate billing and collections, to ensure the financial health of the land development department.
- Team Collaboration: Train and mentor junior staff within a full-service organization while collaborating across departments such as surveying and environmental planning.
