We are seeking a Testing Certification Director to join a premier national trade association in the Arlington, VA area. This is a high-impact role where you will oversee the integrity of global HVAC-R certification programs that ensure human comfort, safety, and environmental stewardship.
As the authority for the organization's certification division, you will manage a talented team of engineers and navigate both new products and critical shift in the HVAC-R industry. Your mission is to ensure global manufacturers receive the guidance they need to keep both product performance and complex regulations in perfect alignment.

responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide Certification staff in daily operations, ensuring testing goals are met and company procedures are followed.
- Manage and prioritize the delivery of certification services to industry sectors and program participants.
- Oversee program, including suppotying the development of Product Category Rules (PCR) and verification procedures.
- Coordinate work between internal teams to establish accreditation processes for members.

Develop strong relationships with committee members and program participants while maintaining a liaison with 3rd party testing facilities.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports, presentations, and minutes for various committees and global offices.
