responsibilities:
- Inspect first-run, in-process, and final machined workpieces to guarantee conformance to rigorous quality and customer specifications.
- Measure dimensions such as length, angles, and arcs using precision instruments like micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and X-ray equipment.
- Interpret and strictly follow written inspection instructions and complex blueprint specifications.
- Execute comprehensive product assessments, including airflow tests, as well as incoming and final inspections.
- Maintain accurate records by completing all necessary inspection forms, reports, and computerized shop floor tracking.
