Maintenance Automation Engineer needed for a client in the Charleston SC area. This is an industry leader with great culture and benefits. THe Maintenance Automation Engineer will be heavily involved in the overhead cranes & mobile equipment part of the facility. Salary for this role will be based on experience.

responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical and automation equipment on overhead cranes & mobile equipment.
- Able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including call-ins.
- Demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
- Advanced automation development experience Knowledge of overhead crane components / operation Motor, motor controls, and AC Drive understanding
- Four-year Electrical Engineering degree
- Rockwell Studio / RS Logix experience Siemens Step 7 / TIA Portal experience HMI programming experience (Wonderware / WinCC / Factory Talk / Ignition) PC and Basic
