responsibilities:
- Design using Revit or Navisworks and implement the digital roadmap from preconstruction through project completion, ensuring that Virtual Design and Construction tools are utilized to hit specific performance metrics and safety standards.
- Establish precise 3D coordinate systems and merge complex models from various design and engineering partners into a single model to serve as the unified technical source of truth.
- 5 or more years leading high stakes coordination sessions to identify and resolve spatial conflicts virtually, specifically focusing on MEP integration to prevent costly field rework.
- Link 3D models to project timelines to generate 4D simulations and 3D site logistics plans, allowing teams to visualize construction phasing and identify potential scheduling bottlenecks before they occur.
- Bridge the gap between digital design and the jobsite by managing laser scan point cloud integrations for asbuilt accuracy and providing technical training to project personnel to ensure model based goals are met on site.
