responsibilities:
- Lead hands-on MEP design (HVAC-focused) across commercial and mission-critical projects, including data centers
- Produce and review Revit-based design and construction documents (not just oversight)
- Support projects from concept through construction, staying closely tied to field execution
- Provide technical mentorship and training to junior engineers, especially in Revit and design workflows
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and field personnel to ensure design accuracy and constructability
- 8+ years of MEP/HVAC design experience on large-scale commercial or mission-critical projects (data centers preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Revit and hands-on drafting/design (must be willing to actively produce drawings)
- Active PE license is required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
- Proven ability to mentor and develop junior engineers while remaining technically hands-on
