In this role you will work closely with internal manufacturing, engineering and external customers to meet manufacturing and quality requirements. You will work on specific quality projects and meet deadlines required by the client. This is a contract role, however, there is an opportunity to be hired directly with the company as they are also looking for long term employees in this role. responsibilities:
- Perform corrective action requests for internal manufacturing process and supplier processes
- Perform RMA's for non conforming product
- Investigate cause for discrepancies and non conformities
- Interface with manufacturing, engineering, customers and vendors to ensure requirements are met
- Manage projects as needed
- 3+ years of experience as a quality engineer in a ISO certified manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Processes
