responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, modification, and evaluation of complex mechanical components and systems.
- Conduct field investigations and client interviews to accurately determine work scope and mechanical cost estimates.
- Plan and prepare equipment specifications, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations using standard application programs.
- Seamlessly coordinate engineering efforts across various disciplines, working directly with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Assume a lead technical role to resolve conflicting design requirements, communicate complex solutions to management, and mentor junior designers.
