responsibilities:
- Develop and apply numerical and analytical models (FEA/BEM) to predict and reduce thermo-mechanical stress, residual stress, and warpage in glass and ceramic components.
- Build transient thermal-stress models and simulate contact, fixturing, and handling to optimize process cycles, evaluate thin film stresses, and minimize damage risk.
- Partner and communicate clearly with a globally distributed network of researchers, engineers, commercial partners, and customers to support product engineering.
- Provide guidance on new capability development for mechanical testing and measurements.
- Author technical reports, invention disclosures, and publications to effectively capture and share technological solutions and research.
