Industry leading manufacturing organization is searching for a promotable (groomed for advancement opportunities) Structural Engineer in the Duluth, MN area.
This roles comes with a very good salary commensurate with experience with a base salary ranging from $100k to $110k plus a bonus that can range from 15% to 30% based upon company performance. Relocation assistance is also available.

responsibilities:
-Manage structrual steel engineering projects from cost estimates, material specifications, calculations, design of structures, facilities and equipment to installation and start up.
-Ensure contract work is documented properly with specifications and work scopes, coordinate within operational needs and completed safely.
-Direct and coordinate work performed by engineering consultants and contractors.
-Direct and coordinate work performed by operating employees as required for new equipment installation or testing to ensure conformity to engineering design and specifications.
-Provide structural steel assessments expertise to management, engineers and mechanical crafts people on as needed basis.
Minimum Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
-5 years experience in structural steel engineering required
-Previous knowledge of project management and creation of work scopes preferred
-Previous project engineering, cost analysis, budgeting and quality management experience preferred
-Licensed structural PE in Minnesota preferred
-Proficient with Microsoft Office and Auto-cad
