responsibilities:
- Drive the full software development lifecycle to create the next generation of automated research and development field equipment.
- Design, develop, test, and support control software systems, managing capabilities like machine control, data acquisition, and cloud connectivity.
- Develop robust machine-to-machine (M2M) and electromechanical automation systems using C#, C++, C, or Python.
- Act as a technical leader within a cross-functional team by setting technical direction, organizing tasks, and mentoring junior engineers.
