Our client is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join their team in Connecticut. In this pivotal role as a Project Engineer, you will bridge the gap between design and execution, ensuring technical specifications meet operational reality. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who can drive project timelines while maintaining the highest standards of engineering integrity and safety for our client.

responsibilities:
- Coordinate and perform detailed reviews of shop drawings and submittals to ensure alignment with construction schedules.
- Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and maintain comprehensive transmittal logs for distribution at job meetings.
- Assist in developing and updating project CPM schedules through periodic job site visits and progress reviews.
- Identify project changes to develop cost proposals and communicate updates to subcontractors and suppliers.
- Facilitate professional correspondence between owners, architects, and engineers to maintain a clear communication chain.
